Deacon Robert born August 7th at 12:03am 7lbs 3oz 19in......I was at the hospital not feeling well at 3pm, decided to induce me since I was due Friday and been 4cm for several days. I got my Pitocin at 5pm, stayed at 5cm for the longest time, out of nowhere I was 9cm and ready to push. I pushed a total of 2 times and he was out! Tonight's my 3rd night in the hospital (since I had him right after midnight we chose to go ahead and stay the night instead of leaving so late) and it's my first night here alone. Not sure if it's the hormones or what but I can't stop crying. My 2 1/2 yr old daughter stayed with my parents the first 2 nights but tonight she's home with my husband. Tears started pouring as soon as they walked out the door. I'm sure I'll be fine, I just hope these hormones go back to normal ASAP because I'm only going to be able to take next week off for my maternity leave and then go back part time when school starts on the 19th. I've heard some women experience hormonal issues for weeks after having their baby. Hopefully I don't have that problem once I get home and back to my family. Anyways, just thought I'd tell everyone my good news
