    Purging...

Now I'm into purging toys. I pulled out all my baby toys and am going through them...I have an entire kitchen trash bag full to get rid of already. And some Little People buildings that aren't my favorites (the grocery store and a stupid town). This is just the beginning. Soon to follow are frilly princess dresses that drive me crazy, and anything that's annoying or missing pieces or partially broken in anyway.

    GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

I just finished clearing out my basement of all those types of toys. SIX full garbage bags later... it's such a great feeling!

last time I did this I ended up remodeling the whole room. I love it now. Less stuff and now everything is bright and cheery. what I couldn't believe was how many toys were broken and hidden by the daycare kids.

What I have to do is put a load of toys away for rotation. Half our stuff never gets played with and just takes up space. But if I hide it for a few months and bring it all out again, it's like Christmas!
The rest of the house though; THAT needs to be purged.

That was my problem - I kept thinking I *might* need this or that. Finally after a couple of years in the basement I realized I was never going to need it!:: I had received tons of battery operated infant toys from parents purging their own toys I do ask for gently used toys but from now on will qualify exactly what toys I am looking for
