How Far Down The List Do You Go?

I would keep going down the list and like pp mentioned, drive by! I am a worrier and I would be worried about this family if it were one of my dcf's!
I have a family here that is going through a divorce. Dcm said that dcd is abusive and enough is enough so she left. Well one day they didn't show up on time. Thank goodness they eventually did. I was so worried that something happened and that's all I could think about! (dcd has a green card and is Canadian so I was worried that he somehow got the child and took him back there or one of his family members did)

Also like pp's have said, if they didn't want their family members to hear of things, then they should have said something to you!

I finally got in touch with one grandma. Guess DCk has been with her since Sunday and both parents have been Mia since then.

G-ma said sorry a million times said she wish she would have thought to call me.

I told her it was not her responsibility and told her I was very very worried. She understood and shared in my concerns. So as of right now at least I know dck is ok. I have No clue what is going one with dcp........


Guess ill have to wait and see....

((hugs)) What a yucky thing to deal with as you leave on your vacation! I'm glad you got in touch and that dck is okay. I can't imagine just leaving my kid like that....people are SO WEIRD.

Just wondering if you've heard anything from this family yet? It seems very strange. I couldn't picture a family you've had that length of time cutting off communication with no explanation. I guess as well as we think we might know our dcfs, we really don't.
