Over Protective Parent = My OWN Husband!

So today at daycare the kids were playing outside and my 2yr old daughter decides to shove a pea gravel rock up her nose.....not exactly what I need right now since I'm going to be going into labor at any minute! (Literally....I'm 4cm and 50% effaced!) I decided to call my husband before going to the doctor and he flipped out saying things like "Doesn't anyone watch the kids?" and "I'm going to sue the daycare" yada yada yada. I told him that I was the one watching her (well there were 2 other adults there technically watching her since I'm on leave) and you can't keep your eyes on all 10 kids at the same time. It just gets me how ignorant he is when it comes to things like this. Kids do stuff all the time and you can't prevent ALL of it. It's just so annoying and frustrating that he doesn't get it!

With you about to go into labor I'm sure he is just a bit stressed. Just like you said it wasn't exactly what you needed right now, I'm sure he was thinking the same thing. Good luck on your labor and delivery!!

I would have said no, nobody watches the kids. My favorite part of the day is when one injures themself or has a crisis.

:: But, I'm a snarky pain right now since I'm an uncomfortable pregnant lady myself. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DELIVERY!!! Sending easy labor vibes your wya. happyface

:: This is how I answer all of those kind of questions, and I am not even pregnant.

I'm still wondering how your husband plans on suing your daycare?
