I Know This Was Asked Before...

..., but I'm having trouble finding quality hep. Where do you advertise? I live in a small town & the local newspaper is read by few people. The closes Craigslist city is about 45 minutes away. I have an ad on Facebook & a local internet site right now & it's producing nothing.

    Any other ideas?!?

Maybe put some signs up on a bulletin board at local grocery stores/library/etc...

I put notices up where I thought the type of person I would want to hire would see them - the library, schools, etc. I asked people I know and trust to put the word out to their friends.

The one thing I have found to help get/keep excellent help is to pay well. When I was offering minimum wage I got a couple of SAHM's who thought they could clean, read magazines etc. while the kids played (despite me telling them repeatedly they needed to be able to follow the schedule) It was horrible coming back from appointments to have them stewing because the kids hadn't listened to them, destroyed the play room, etc. When I asked if they had done a time out, or taken the kids outside when it was clear they needed to get out and blow off steam, I got blank looks.

      Good Luck!

Most places in my town has done away with the bulletin boards. The library doesn't even have one now. Crazy!
