    Selling toys?

I am going to try to clear out some of our toys (many of the ones I thought they would just looooove, but either never really got played with or were repurposed inappropriately :: )
What have you found is the best way to unload the toys? CL? Want Ads? Other?

Big stuff I sell on craigslist, small stuff on ebay. Actually, if you are willing to wait until late Nov, early December toys go for a lot more money because people are Christmas shopping! Sometimes I go to garage sales and then sell big "lots" of toys on ebay and triple (or more) my money!

Great idea! I have a Kid Kraft train table in excellent shape. I was hoping to get it out NOW, but may try to wait.

              Goodwill.

I am so past the trying to sell anything.... now if I want to get rid of something, I want it gone yesterday.

I just packed and brought almost 6 garbage bags full of toys, puzzles and games. Many of which were in almost brand new condition because we had received two or three of the same things. A lot of these toys would be great for a child or two, but not so great for home dc... Of course some things were just misused so much that the day after I put them out, back in the basement they went. Those will be put at the end of the driveway with a "FREE" sign

I am putting my train table set up for sale as well as a bistro table and chair set and a Melissa & Doug puppet theater. Those are just too expensive to let go for nothing. I am going to use a local classified to start and go from there.

Me too! I had a huge deduction from donating to goodwill last year on my taxes- I ended up with more $ that way than if I had out in to work to sell them .
If you go to turbo tax they have a calculator that tells you what you can claim on each item-

Our Goodwill no longer accepts kids' toys - probably because of all the recalls. Very disappointing.

I usually FB things - I hate CL! We have groups called "moms on a budget" for all different areas around here. Maybe search for some in your area??
