OT- Thank You Gift For Neighbor??

My next door neighbor has offered to let my family use their pool whenever we want and I'd like to give them a nice thank you gift. Their older teens no longer have any interest in the pool and my boys have been over there almost every day since they offered. (while they are at work so as not to intrude.)

Any ideas on what to give? Should I give now or at the end of summer?

I would give a gift immediately. Maybe something their whole family could use, a gift card to a nice restuarant, movie tickets, or a game night basket, or goodie basket of candy or muffins or something...

    happyface for great neighbors!!

Yes! Maybe even something now and something later. Maybe even a gift certificate for a pool store for chemicals. (in addition to something for all of them)

You can get movie tickets at costco for cheap. I got 2 tickets here for $15!! They were also for Cinemark. Worth a shot.

I would find a gift that keeps on giving....
Don't give something that'll end up in the junk drawer. Instead, try one of these creative gifts that will be appreciated for months (or even years!) to come.

I was going to suggest something pool cleaning related for now (chlorine or shock?), and then when summer is over maybe a restaurant gift card or something like that. How nice of your neighbors, I'm jealous!

            Thanks for the replies.

I think I like the idea of the something now and something later gift. I had thought about getting something for the pool but I'd have NO idea what to get or where they even get their supplies so that's out. I think I'll do some home-made baked goodies that they can enjoy now and an evening out for the family at the end of summer. (Dinner or movie gift cards.) I like the magazine subscription idea, too.

They truly are great neighbors. We're the type to go back and forth borrowing a cup of sugar or a few eggs or whatever. Sometimes it's pretty funny the things that we show up at each other's doorstep looking for. They even told us that we could have the pool when they decide to get rid of it which will probably be next year!
