Wen I saw pictures of Duchess Catherine and Kim Kar"trash"ion in the papers together because both were expecting there was absolutely no comparison. The Duchess looked every inch the lady, in her dress, her manner, etc. Kim, with her neon spandex, looked awful.

Just kidding. I don't have any interest in the silly star stuff either.

I know the Kardashian's have some kind of show on t.v. but have no idea what their claim to fame is. I remember them having some kind of relationship with O.J. Simpson if I remember right. I mean family friends or something. I'm not interested enough to look it up though.

Also, just because someone looks like a lady.... There has been plenty of scandal in high places and I'm sure much is covered up. Just saying.....

However, I feel the royal baby's birth is fascinating simply because of the fairy tale aspect.

It's nice to hear/read about someone in a GOOD way...one that evokes love, happiness and an overall feeling of euphoria for ANYTHING other than the kinds of "reality stars" American's idolize....

I'd much rather keep up with the royal family than the Kardashian's

Prince George Alexander Louis may not have "earned" his rock star status but I believe his family has....through generations of tradition and heritage and considering the state of most families now days, that is something to celebrate! happyface

It is just that no one really knows what has gone on in that or any family. Not saying they are not good people but that we just don't know. Diana and Charles didn't seem to have a match made in heaven, for example. That's fine. They are no better or no worse than anyone else. I don't expect them or anyone to be perfect but when grown adults are drooling over the very sight of them it is kind of gross to me. I read about some sightings of them.

That's all I'm saying. I actually feel kind of sorry for anyone who would be thrust into a famous family. It must be rough to not be able to be yourself. I mean really yourself. Of course, you have more opportunities as you have a famous family and money. I guess I could give it a try maybe. ::
