Weird Monday

Cool and very soggy. It's been raining cats and dogs for 45 minutes!

Only two dcks and one isn't here yet. They're my littles, too--14 mo and 4 mo. 14 mo's 4.5 yo brother is at Grandmas for the day.

So, it's a very calm, quiet morning. My daughter got my son out of bed for this morning and got them a snack and turned the TV on so i got to sleep in. And there's so little noise. And so little work.

The toddlers and my 5.5 yo DD are using dot markers and big paper to be creative. I'm wasting time on the laptop, honsetly still in my pajamas. Hey, it's not like I'm going anywhere! When i finish writing this i'll probably get dressed. Maybe. But I think I'll tackle some big kitchen cleaning that i ignored this weekend, while the kiddos keep doing what they're doing.

I could get USED to this!

It's quiet here, too. My only DCK on Mondays is home sick, so it's just me and my girls. DH and I are going to take them to the bounce house when he's up (perfect timing, my new DCK starts next week full time so I won't have any days off for a while)

I'll trade you! Dcm tried to drop off dcg & dcb in their pj's (not allowed), with full overnight pull ups (not allowed), w/o shoes (not allowed). Needless to say she was late for work....and is po'd at me (tough). And why did she try to do this? Because dcb (3) and dcg (4.5) didn't go to bed until 1am because, and I quote dcm "I lost track of time."

Surprisingly, dcg & dcb are behaving quite well! Makes me think they lack sleep quite often.
