Prayers for all in my community!

We flooded! It happened in 2006 also and I feel so bad for all who spent tons of money redoing their basements! Sewer water! We are lucky that we only have about 1/2 inch. My cousin's freezer flipped and is floating in 3 ft of water! Dh is at work and it's just me and the kids so I can't do anything right now! My brother just spent tons and spent 2 years finishing his basement in his spare time. It was beautiful and now he has dark, dirty poop water floating in it! I am lucky and feel awful for all who got it worse than us. Praying for all of them!

I'm so sorry to hear about your flooding problems. Even that 1/2" can be a pain to have to deal with, especially if it comes after spending time and money fixing up your home less than ten years ago. We had flooding in our basement during an ice storm several years ago. It was miserable but at least it wasn't sewer water. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you!
