I am just wondering if it is worth it? I really really need a table, and I would actually be putting this in the kitchen for adults and children (since i dont have a kitchen table)

Right now I have a little Tikes table and it is toooo small. Shipping from them is only $25 also.

Then I just need to find chairs...

Find a handy person. Our train table seats 10 kids and cost 25 bucks to make and it is solid wood structure.

145 (inc. shipping) seems like a lot for a kids table to me. Although Kaplan's quality is really good.

Kaplan's quality is good...I don't have that table, but the price doesn't actually seem that bad for a nice child-sized table. But, as previous poster stated, if you're able to find someone to make a table or cut one down for you, it could be much cheaper.

It is so great. I like the length. Was a gift from a dc child's grandmother. Came with 4 chairs.

BGMeyers, that is the one I was originally looking at, but i saw this one with the brown trim and liked it more since it will be in my kitchen...

I will prob get four of those chairs and then 2 adult chairs...or maybe i need 4 adult chairs and 2 kid chairs.... I want to be able to use it too since i dont have a dining/kitchen table...i hope it is easy to raise and lower!

I have a "lifetime" table for my kids and I am sure it was less then $100,about $60 maybe,I got mine at SAM club.

If you take a look on kaplan's website, under clearance, you will see that they have several different size solid wood tables on clearance for $50. I bought one and I LOVE it....very sturdy and I love that it is wood.

I saw them crystal, but they are too small, the one that is the size i need is sold out, and i called and they wont be getting anymore I think i am going to look for that lifetime table posted, if it is the size i need that is a great price!
