I have a cut off time of 8:45am. If you are here by then, then you are considered absent for the day.........

I make sure my parents know that they can let their kid sleep in as long as they want...but they can't drop them off at daycare then and expect them to stay on schedule.

I'll take a kid that has slept in but as soon as nap time rolls around, I expect the child to either rest quietly or the parent needs to be prepared to come pick them up because I will not allow one child's schedule at home negatively impact the other children's schedules at daycare.

If the child doesn't go down for nap at the regular time, call the parent and give the issue back to them.
