Do You Use Cots Or Mats??

I've been using the mats about 1 1/2 in thick, but they rip so easily and get all messed up, so I just purchased some cots and waiting for them. I think it is a better investment. I would have to buy cots at least 2 xs a year for each child, even though they are cheap it adds up as a constant cost.- Flag

Little ones have pack n plays, older ones have cots. I used to have the red/blue mats, but they tore all the time and I also read an article about their possible toxicity.- Flag

I have a naptime room with toddler beds. I also have cots just in case I need them. We use the mats for exercise time.- Flag

I use mats and haven't had any issues. Love that I can fold them up and store them when not working. I use pillow cases to cover them so no issues with ripping. Years ago at a center in my area, a child rolled off his cot and broke his collar bone (he fell "funny" off the cot, the cot was standard height) I've always liked them closer to the floor for that reason.- Flag

I bought a pack of 6 cots on school outfitters online for $134 including shipping
It is a cheaper brand of cots, but it still has a warranty of 20 years so I know they'll be food and last forever. Some of the other brands were very expensive like $50 or more per cot.- Flag

I use pack and play and mats.
I'm changing over to cots real soon. My kids are so rough with the mats that I'm always having to replace them.- Flag
