    Why is it?? (vent)

    I just need to vent......

I have had many DCF over the years that have never been able to make my preschool program on time.

I have had parents that say oh I can't pick up at that time, is this possible___________________

Can't figure out how to properly dress their kid for the day...................

My list could go on and on.....

But as soon as the parents decide to put them in preschool or what not, all of a sudden they can adapt to the new schools rules.............

They view one as a baby-sitting service and one as a preschool. My parents that view me as a preschool treat me with the UTMOST respect and I adore them. lovethis
The parents in the past that viewed me as a baby-sitter were disrespectful and truly made unwise decisions.

I run a great preschool program and the parents know this.... I hardly have families leave to send their kids else where for preschool...............
I guess I just feel crappy when I have parents who ask for a later pick up time past my closing because they can't get to my house on time, only to be able to put them in a different preschool that closes an hour earlier and they can get there on time...

I know doing special opens you up to this........BUT gggeeerrrrr

That, my friend, is what we call a "hot mess."
I used to be so sweet and offer various accommodations. Now I'm pretty rigid and by the book ... the book I made. ::

            I know what you mean!!!

I have clients that enroll for preschool only but can't make it because ******* doesn't want to get up or arrives late because child didn't want to get up and going.

What are these parents/children going to do when its time for school!! I can't see them call ing the teacher and saying ******* won't be there today because they didn't want to get up.

            Drives me insane!!!!

:: I hear that from two of my families. Whatever! No skin off my nose as it ends up equaling less work for me.

Absolutely! I can tell if we will have problems by what they refer "here" as to their child- if they say daycare there are gonna be respect problems, if they say school they will respect our rules and follow them
