One of Those Days!

I am really enjoying the quiet time right now! New dck-12 mos old, second day. Needs to work on independence! Cried every time I put them down, walked away to take care of someone else, changed a diaper....all morning long! Doesn't help that they were up before 5 am and does not know how to self soothe to sleep. Still gets rocked to sleep at home-all the time! I can not do that here. I guess it'll be a tough transition until they learn to fall asleep on their own. I will rub the belly but, can not rock you with these other kids to watch out for! Fell asleep really quickly after lunch! Exhausted, I'm sure! Guess who else is tired now!

Hope the transition starts going a little smoother for you. I feel your pain, I have a 13 mo old like that. I ended up just letting him throw his fit and wouldn't pick him up until he stopped. The last 2 days have been going MUCH more smoothly. So I hope that easy vibe moves your way. Good luck~

It's really kinda cute that he follows me from the living room into the kitchen crawling when I just go fill a cup up! He looks so pathetic but, I can not hold anyone all the time-not even my own kids! You guys all know how that is! Monday he was perfect-just taking it all in! Didn't nap great but, smiled. Maybe he was not feeling well, his mood improved after he pooped!::
