My oldest was born at 28 weeks and weighed 2lbs 12oz, his stay in the the NICU was a little over 2 months. It can be scary as others have mentioned, but stay encouraged!!

Hey, sorry just getting back to this. Its been a crazy week!

I actually had started having placental abruption, where the placenta starts detaching prematurely from the wall.of the uterus and coming apart. Very dangerous. If had hadn't already been in the hospital, this wouldn't have ended nearly as well as it did.

When they took the placenta out, there was only a piece left intact. Hubby said it was just disintegrated...

I have soooo much to be grateful for...

Oh my gosh that's tiny. I thought my niece was small. She was born at 25 weeks and weighed 2.08 lbs. She was born on December 24 and came home April 13.

Congrats Hunni! She is just beautiful. I wish her a quick trip out of that NICU!
