If possible, I'd just make a "big kid zone" and leave it up. Not sure how much space you have, though.

I have a good bit of space but then again 85% of my downstairs is set up for the DC. I think if I rearranged my tiny living room to fit another permanent DC fixture my boyfriend would have a cow! Its bad enough 5 days out of the week our tiny living room is housing pack'n'plays for nap and its also where I store all my craft supplies AND the highchairs.. haha Sometimes I think I put too much into my job and forget we live here too .
