Plus, it's so hot, it doesn't smell "clean" and it's just not how I want to present. The tech is supposed to come at 8:30am tomorrow, so I'm hoping my 5pm interview will be fine and that I can hopefully just postpone the 9am to later in the day after it's fixed.

Crossing fingers that it's an easy fix!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe the problem is just an ear wig I'll hope for you. Of course, my mom's was blowing...just not cooling.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

I can't get anyone out for 3 more days now, UGH!! I went to WalMart last night & bought a window unit for $200. I can always use it in the garage when I convert it to a craft room. It feels great in here now.

YAY! The AC guy came at 8am this morning and got it going again! WHEW! Now, it will take it a while to cool down from 85 in the house to 68 where I like it but that's okay, it's instantly feeling better already.

And my interviews are on for 4 and 5 pm later today. Whew! Plenty of time too cool off and clean up the house and ourselves.

        Thanks everyone!

Wow! You keep your air on 68? Your bills must be huge! We keep ours at 74 and the kids still complain they're cold, they would freeze at 68!

Between 68-72. Well, it's taken 16 hours, but the house temp is down from 88 to 75 now at almost midnight.

And my 4pm interview brought the deposit and contract right back tonight! Yay!

I keep mine at 65.......BUT we are a very active group. Since it's often in the 100's here outside, we have to do everything we would normally do outdoors indoors. Minus running of course.

My bill is about 375-600 a month......

Same here. I would be wearing a jacket if it was any cooler than that, .

I wish I could keep mine at 68!! But my hubby and kids make me keep it at 72... If it goes higher I turn it back! And my dc kids still wear sweatshirts!!
