One of my DCMs invited me and my kids to their house for dinner tonight. On top of that they have been growing pumpkins and we get to pick some out to take back home.
Going over for dinner is always nice. Be fearful if you ever invite one over to your house for dinner. We were fixing dinner and getting ready to eat once and DCM wouldn't get the hint and I asked if she wanted some. She stayed that one time and now every time that dinner is cooking she walks into the kitchen (at the back of the house) to see what is and stands there like waiting for an invitation to eat again . This is an almost everyday thing now ::.

You could profit with this though. If you have time to make one meal maybe you could make two. Ask if she would be willing to take dinner home from your house at a cost? It would save her time & you could earn a little extra $$$$.

This is the same DCM that is trying to convince me to take an extra week off for maternity leave so that she can go on vacation to Costa Rica without having to pay DC fee's ::. She's looking for a free meal, sorry to say. Since that one time I have not asked her to stay again but she lingers in my kitchen while my hunny cooks and it becomes a little akward. I just keep smiling from the living room and give her a pleasant "Here are [DCB's] things, he's all ready to go". My hunny gets irritated by this and I love hearing his little grumbles and under breath mumbles when she leaves "What does she think this is? A free for all?" "Does she want me to spoon feed her too?" "You take my parking and now you want to take my food?" my favorite is "I can't stand you when you're here for 2 minutes let alone an entire meal" ::
