What Would You Charge?

So it's getting busy here again, I am getting a few calls a day! YAY! Just signed a drop in for 1 day a week, who will be taking up the random 2 days/week I have available in September.

I have a SA opening, but wasn't actively trying to fill it. I got an email from a woman looking for care for her 3rd grade daughter, from 7:40-8:20am every morning (yep, that's it!) So a little extra money, and all I do is serve her breakfast and wait for the bus (already do this anyway)

My rates for before/after are $75/week. I was thinking $25/week. Dh says to split it and charge her $37.50/week.

I would probably do $30

I charge $12 per day before and after. $10 for just before or just after. So I don't even discount half.

Unless you REALLY want/need them, I'd do $40 or $45. Unless I was desperate and didnt think the spot would fill otherwise, I wouldn't do half or less, since you could fill that spot with a BA person and make the full $75.

I would charge no less than $40 but truly based on your rate 45 or 50 is more than fair.

I would not do it for half. What about the after school care? What if someone wants BF and AF?? now you can only offer after.

I would do about $10 a day... YOu are missing out on the other half of the day that you cant make up
