I enrolled a new dcb boy 2 weeks ago who has some mental and behavior nothing to bad just gets over stimulated and will reacted to get away. well t last day while I was feeding the baby my 18 month dcg gets in his face and before I can get there he spanks her. her older brother was thrlere so ofcourse he made a very big deal out of it to mom at pick up. what should I have said? I explaned to mom what happened with out the details about his behavior and she seemed angery at him.

I think I would just say to big brother (in front of mom) "Yes, we all have to get used to the new rules in a new place." then to dcm "I let DCB know right away in no uncertain terms that hitting is never okay here. I will keep a close eye on it until he has learned all of our rules" -or something like that- :hug:
