I wish I knew how to post pics from my Kindle or Facebook so I could share the joy!!!!
    That is sooo cool!

I use my family room and it is only daycare but my high chairs are in my dining room and the beds are in three different bedrooms cause I like the children separated as they sleep better. Soooo, it is spread all over the house in reality.

Do you have a basement or a converted garage or how did you do it? Do the children sleep in that same room?

This is in a bedroom, my oldest daughter moved out 6 months ago so I just used her room. I wish I had a basement. The children have preschool time and eat in the kitchen. The older children sleep on cots in the living room and the babies sleep in cribs in my room for now. My youngest daughter is moving into her own apartment in Sept/Oct. Then the cribs will go into her room along with my "office". It will be nice to have my bedroom back :-)

Oh okay, my provider friend uses her bedrooms also. One for the play area and one for sleeping. I never had much luck with putting the children all in one room to sleep but hers is really, really dark and I guess they don't see each other.

I tried using a bedroom for the playroom but found it didn't work for me. My family room is off my kitchen and I can cook or whatever in there and still see the children. Not so in the bedroom. Plus I have a living room so we didn't really use the family room much anyway.

I also used to have one crib in my bedroom when I had more children. Thank goodness those days are over! You do what you have to do though. Such is life.

I don't have a basement either as I live in Florida. No basements here. A lot of people convert garages into rooms here though.

Luckily all the children I presently care for started with me as infants so I was able to train them to sleep in the same room. I have two 18 month olds that are in cribs in my room. Sometimes they chat a bit before going off to sleep. Which I LOVE to listen too

When I prepare meals the children either will be at the kitchen table doing preschool work, working on an open-ended craft or in my adjoining living room watching an educational cartoon. They will be in view at all times.

Very nice! I love how bright and cheery it looks!!

Sure makes things much easier when you can contain your "work life" to a separate space.

                  So cute!

I love the colors, too. What are the paint colors? I've got to paint my playroom soon & I'm looking for inspiration.

Its so cute! Great use of the closet space. I also have that leaf canopy above my reading nook and I love it. Really adds something to the room. Great job!happyfacehappyface

My green color is rejuvenate. I enclosed a picture of the color codes. I have this picture because my best friend wanted it for one of her kids room and she wanted the color codes when she bought the paint

My youngest daughter actually picked the colors. She was planning on moving into the room but has since decided to get her own apartment. It'll have to ask her

You did a great job! The room is so bright and still has a calm feel about it! I agree about the great use of closet space too! I wish I could "close" off my daycare too!

I love the colors too. I did a pear shade in one room and cocoa in the other.

I loved how bright and inviting it is. Have fun!
