(Knocks on wood) I've never had issues like any of these.... YET.

My parents are usually the other way. Child sneezes. Calls me and tells me the child sneezed ONCE they are keeping them home. I'm thinking...

My ex sister in law's favorite behavior excuse was "too much watermelon" for YEARS! Now she just pretends not to see what her child is doing.

I had a mom bring her VERY sick 2 children. She'd medicated them right before she left the house to come to the daycare and when I noted the infant didn't look like herself, it was "teething". About an hour later both kids were burning up! That's when I KNEW what she did and called her out on it. I had them pick the kids up right away but too late, I was exposed. I was pregnant too.

I lost one of my triplets after becoming sick with pneumonia, 5ths disease and strep all in one and being hospitalized. She is LUCKY that the other 2 babies didn't die too but one of them has a lot of issues, partly due to the extreme amount of medications I was pumped up with in the hospital.

Mom had nerve to try to bring the child back WITHOUT a doctor's note after the week I was gone (And told her I NEEDED Dr. Note) and I terminated her at the door.

NEVER again would I subject myself to a child's "teething". If they look sick, they're SICK!

First, I hope you feel better!

I have a dcm who blames everything that goes on with her son on gluten or red dye. Funny though, I accidentally put a plate in front of him and he ate a few pieces of a waffle and was fine all day and week.
Then one day he has a bite of a red popsicle and mom says she was going to call me to tell me that he had that bite (the night before) and to watch out because apparently he gets hyper and doesn't listen when he has either or. Ummmm...no.....he is 2.5 and will act like that occasionally!
          Who knows...
