I am going to buy some of Tom Copeland's books/planners/forms/etc. Any "don't miss this one" recommendations? Everything looks useful, just trying to figure out where to focus my spending. Would appreciate any advice you seasoned providers can give me!

I don't know about the planners and such but with taxes this year his 2012 tax workbook saved my bum! I'd recommend if your doing them yourself (or if you have an accountant that's not familiar with daycare taxes) you pick the tax book up at tax time next year.- Flag

I can't think of the name of it, but it's the one that lists 1000 (or some huge number) things that can be deducted from your taxes. It's wonderful! I bought the one that is for doing your own taxes. I filled out what I could and gave it to my accountant, along with the deductions book and a link to Tom's blog and the tax forum here. It worked out well for us.- Flag

I think its the Record Keeping one. For me that's the one that I would recommend first to anyone. All of the other books are extremely good but this book is my "go to" book.- Flag

I'm done supporting him and refuse to purchase any of his products since he came out as super pro union.
His stance has substantial influence and to say I am disappointed in him is a massive understatement.
I use The Redleaf Calendar Keeper. It's super easy to use and keeps me very organized. My CPA who does my taxes is always very impressed. Literally takes her just minutes to input all of my itemized information because the CK makes it so easy to keep track of everything and then add it all up at the end of the year.
Tracks income quarterly for those who file that way too.- Flag
