Lots of tears, lots of tired children. Tired 14 week old, tired 13 month old, 2 year old (mine) that has given up naps and doesn't quite know what to do with himself.

I'm resorting to a show while I feed the baby and get lunch. It's my only hope for sanity and 20 minutes of peace to get things ready.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

Well not as bad as yours obviously but still bad.

Lots of tired and crabby mccrabby pants kiddies here today. Even the 5 month old who is usually delightful.

It's so bad that I have to email one of the mom's for the middle name of one child later because when they're like this I have to call them by their first and middle names. Now THAT is bad. ::

Two times I've had a baby open their diaper at nap and smear it all over the crib so I really feel for you. Yuck.

*knock on wood* but in all my years of doing child care, I have NEVER had a diaper digger or a poop smearer in care.

Sorry your Monday started out so gross.

Gross! Sorry you have to start your week that way

I only have 3 kids today. (Vacation, sick,...) One came in exhausted and has been asleep for the past 3 hours. Parents said she was up late. She also has thick green snot and will be sent home if it continues when she wakes up.

One has cried non-stop since drop off. This is always how he starts Mondays. He is held every second at home, even when sleeping, so he has a tough reality check every Monday.

            One has been great!

That happened to me on Friday. On the wall, all over the toilet, on the floor...yuck!
My kids are actually having a good day today, which is rare when I have all six!

My DCB does this to the other kids, only he fills in the blank if he doesn't know their middle name. "AMY SUPERMAN COLLINS, THAT'S NOT ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR!"

My Monday is actually going very well. All the kids are doing so well sharing and playing nice, I'm kind of a little afraid to say it though
However, to go along with this post, I have a 3 yr old dcb who didn't wipe his bumski well, and well when he sat on the floor to put his pants on (which I KEEP telling him he doesn't need to take pants off to poop), he got poop smeared on the floor. SO I understand the disgusting poop thing.

At the FCC I used to work at, there was one toddler (between 1 year to 16 months old at the time I think) who used to try to take her diaper off during nap time. Well one time after nap time one of the assistants went in to get her after nap time and not only did she have her diaper off but she also used her own feces as "war paint" (that's what my boss called it) and it was smeared all over her face/body, her clothes, and the bedding in her crib.

I am SO glad I wasn't working that day!

Oh I love that. I'll have to do that if I don't know their middle name. I never did get around to emailing her and the form just has an initial M. for the middle name.

That is exactly what happened to me the first time! I was just sooo lucky that my adult son decided to stop in at just that moment. He watched the others while I gave this child a bath and cleaned up everything.

Now I have a certain outfit I put on them for nap that the mom had given me at that time. First you put a pajama bottom on...the kind that is fitted around the ankle. Then put a onesie OVER that. She let me keep it when she left and I needed it one more time unfortunately but that one wasn't as bad at least.

She said it never happened at home but the one day it DID. She came in with a horrified look on her face and I couldn't imagine why she looked like that. She said he did it again at home and she knew just how I felt.

Duct tape!!! Or masking tape- with open area in the back- works like a charm!

They tried doing that one time but she wound up ripping her diaper... She's very rebellious
