Have any of you ever sent home evaluations for the dcps to fill out on you and your daycare? What questions did you ask, and did you get 100% return?
It was a requirement for me to do this year and I was very pleased with the results. I used a sample of my birth-3 mentor's as a start, but would like more ideas of what to ask.
I was touched by one of my most fav families when she added under suggestions, 'take paid vacation time'. I really might have to do that because I cannot afford time off so only take the normal paid holidays.
Another question was rating the provider 1-5. Everyone put 5 except the family with the most challenging child. Haha It doesn't really bother me but I found it amusing and ironic that I bust my butt for their kid and rated a 4. Ok, maybe it did bother me just a teeny bit.
