    Photo Slideshow Program

Does anyone know of a website that you can make a photo slideshow and add music? On my old computer it had a program to do this and I just put them on dvd's. With my this computer, I can't seem to find a program on here that works. I figured there has to be some online thing that is free or cheap to make slideshows and then you can just give the person the link. TIA

    My weebly website does it.

I just add the sideshow. Then add the music file and it gives me the open to play automatically or user play.

I'm looking for something that I can burn onto a dvd. I want to make a slide show of the great grandkids (my 2 and my nephew) for my grandparents. They lost a bunch of their pictures and thought it would be nice to just put it on a dvd for them.

The program on my PC that does it is called Windows Live Movie Maker.

It came pre-loaded into my computer.

You can get it free from Microsoft if it wasn't pre-loaded onto your PC.

I think I've seen that on my computer somewhere. I can't find stuff on this windows 8 business. I'll look for that or download it-thanks! I tried a Kinoza (I think) site, but after I had it the whole slide show done, they wanted my credit card number.

            Oh yeah...you have Windows 8...

My DH has that on his new computer too and HATES it! We downloaded a program that gives back the start button and makes the desktop and programs all appear as if we are running Windows 7 (or earlier) because we couldn't stand (or understand) the way the Windows 8 stuff worked.

I've heard a lot of people are unhappy with it.

I actually googled it to see if Windows 8 had the Windows Live Movie Maker and apparently they did not include it in the 8 version so I asked how to do it and it gave me the link I posted above so I guess that is how you will need to go about it.

Seems like Windows 8 is actually a step backwards...

The only way I can find anything on my Windows 8 laptop is to use the "search" function. I finally installed the aftermarket "classic shell" program so I can make it work like a Windows 7 machine.

Yes, there is. The photo slideshow maker will help you create nice slideshows.
