I came down with a case of mastitis, which has flu-like symptoms. I did not close as my DH is home, but one family did not come in. Originally was going to come in late, then called to say her job was slow and she's keep the kids. Since I was open I want to not offer a refund, but I also feel bad as she was very nice about keeping her kids. What would you do? (This is my temporary family, so technically drop-in. I wouldn't charge if I closed, but I was open)
Sick day

I hope you feel better! Like a PP said, clogged ducts were awful, I couldn't imagine!
It's up to you, honestly. Are they the type of family to take advantage and arrange care, then pull the kids without wanting to pay in the future? I would just hate to see your niceness be taken advantage of.- Flag

It a very nice family, I am just assuming they'll ask and I felt bad yesterday until I thought of how I would word it. She didn't ask today, so maybe not!- Flag
