I generally do only FT because I'm so limited on the number of kids. So if that were me, I'd explain that the two weeks the child is at dads is impossible to find someone to fill that spot.

They have to pay for the spot, regardless of attendance.

This is what I do!

Also, payment is due in ADVANCE so they would mostly need to pay 2 weeks at a time to make sure you receive payment for the week the child is at dad's.

I agree. The family's arrangement for where their child goes every other week would be no concern of mine.

I have a specific number of spaces available. If they want one, they pay for it. Regardless of how much or how often they use it.

I'd probably charge just over the normal weekly rate and call it part time. BUT if you do not have part time spaces, then you might see if they can do the monthly rate.

For the parent though, if both providers (mom's chosen and dad's chosen) did that, they probably can't afford either of you, so it may be better for mom and dad to both have the same center/home.
