ditto on this. I also have a step stool by the toilet for those that need it. I would not use a potty chair due to sanitary issue. YUCK..

I do the same here. Early on in my day care career, the grandmother of one of my kids suggested putting him on backwards. It worked so well, I've done it for every kid I care for.

        Home Depot.

But I didn't pay that much for it. We've had that seat for two years. Very sturdy. It's very awesome for the smaller ones and they feel very secure on it.
One of the best things ever. Wish I had for my own kids. So much cleaner. I just have one of these and a stool for potty training.

OH MY GOSH. It has been a lifesaver.

The only regret is I didn't find this until after I had finished with my own two kids and assisted with so many other daycare kids .

I was a little worried it would be flimsy but it has held up to the test of some rough children

And so easy to install. Just remove the old toilet seat and attach it. Takes ten minutes.

I used to have one of the little seats and used them with my own kids but then I got a daycare girl who was so delayed in size she had trouble maneuvering the seat...

We are remodeling the bathroom here this summer. I am seriously thinking of just putting in a child sized toilet.

Toilets are super simple to install so if and when we ever decided to sell, we could easily switch the toilet out for a standard sized one.

I would be the only adult who would have to use it but I am pretty comfy sitting on child size chairs that I am pretty sure I could manage a small toilet...kwim? ::

I wish... We only have one bathroom and I don't think I could convince my dh to use it if we swapped our big one out. ::

I am definitely going to shop around but I don't think that's too bad of a price, especially if you said the quality is good. It'll be worth it and I'm sure I'll get lots of use out of it when I start taking in more kids in Sept.

But first I'm gonna see if dh will poop on a 12 inch tall toilet.... ::::::
