    I have a child chasing biter.

    I have a 14 month old DCB that chases everyone around and tries to bite them.

    Or if the kids are all sitting he will crawl up to them and try to bite them.

    I have picked him up and told him no and put him somewhere else, but he continues.

    I have had to resort to keeping him in a pnp. Any thoughts?

    At my day home, children that age have a super play yard that is their play area. The only time they come out into the "gen pop" is when I can be right with them. The play yards are much bigger then the PNP's (and it's against regs in some states to use PNP's for separation purposes) This is not punitive, it's simply the way things are I would make sure that the child has access to things they can bite on, make sure he's not biting out of teething pain, etc. The older children are taught NOT to go in the play yard or put toys in there.
