    Why Is This?

Every time I don't have any openings, I get flooded with calls (some make it to the waiting list), but when I haved openings....crickets, (and everyone on my waiting list has found care already)?

Totally has been happening to me too !! It's so frustrating.

Plus, we have over 2 openings, and I don't know about you - but I never get calls for kids over 2.

What happens to me is that I have a spot open up and for 2-3 months I get no calls and I start to question everything. Like what's wrong with my school? My ads? My website? My Facebook page? What am I doing wrong?????

THEN BOOM! I get 5 or 6 emails all within a single day and I'm totally flooded and trying to interview all these people and make a decision as to who would be the best fit....

Both situations are frustrating. It's actually my most hated part of this job.

I understand. I'm going through that right now. I had 9 calls in two weeks. Now, I'm running ads like crazy and not getting a single call.

It's called "feast or fammine" and it happens to me, too. The phone will be ringing off the wall at times and totally silent at others.

Hardly ever get over 2 calls. Luckily, only one of my spots right now is an over 2. I just need to fill the other 2 under 2 spots. <----wow that looks confusing
