YUCK! Same happened to me today! The kid yelled that he puked, then got him to the bathroom where he spend 20 minutes hanging over the toilet begging to puke more. I'm on the phone with Mom while he has his head in the toilet, and she asks "do you NEED me to come get him? Do you think he's sick?" Um, no, I think he just pukes for attention. I am SO glad it's Friday!

I took off the whole week of Memorial Day to get stuff done & spend time w/family. Friday I have a mom text me at closing time saying she was on her way. Obviously she was late, & while picking up, her son pukes. So frustrating as he should have already been picked up! Now hoping none of my family or myself catch it! I don't take off near enough so I'll be royally ticked if I spend it sick or caring for sick family members! People are royally inconsiderate! Oh, & guess who had to clean the puke? Yours truly!

:: Those kind of responses always make me laugh! I mean what exactly does the parent think you are calling them for if it wasn't to retrieve their child?! ::

                  My favorite is:

Provider "Hi Sally, Junior just threw up all over."
Parent: "What would you like me to do?"

Um, well I would like you to come clean it up, shampoo my carpets, deodorize my house, sanitize the surfaces he touched this morning and erase the image from my mind and then bring her home.
I would also like you to guarantee that no one else is going to get it now.

Usually I just tell them to come pick up.
