My Art Suppy Addiction

this spans 2 threads so I started a new one.

I did not realize that it was this big of a problem. my art closet is over full with art supplies most bought at a great price. BUT I worry about wasting it.

So for awhile we did not mix playdough colors. I hve had some supplies go bad because we did not use them. Don't get me wrong the kids use lots of it but I have far to much and they could have done much more.


so it is also hoarding of art supplies....

Don't feel bad. I have an "issue" with office supplies.

I have more paper clips, post-it notes, pens, pencils, staple and file folders than Office Max does.

Every time I see any of those things marked down, on sale or on clearance, I buy them. I have no idea why.

Atleast, for me, none of what I hoard expires.....

funny, today when I couldn't get the stickers out of the art cupboard I thought about this thread. I have way too much art supplies, but its not only me, my own girls have have an art hoarding problem too, you should see what they have in their rooms.

Oh I hear you! I actually had to rearrange my storage areas to accommodate my growing art supply collection! It doesn't help that every time a parent asks if I want any of their extra arts & crafts supplies that I eagerly take it as if I had absolutely nothing! I can't tell you how much ribbon I have that has been donated from various people. Plus I have a nasty habit of keeping all tissue paper that comes into my house (either gifted or via presents). No, I do not need anymore tissue paper! I AM NOT A HOARDER either, I swear!
