Parent 1 :
I know that your child is hungry in the morning when they come to daycare at 8:20. However, we eat at 8:30 and it presents an even BIGGER issue for us here at daycare because you have sent your 2 year old with a fruit and NUT granola bar when I have an 18 month old here who I have no idea if she has nut allergies seeing as how I am a NUT free daycare. Also, FYI yesterday when your daughter brought in cheerios at 8:25 she set off all DCKs who also wanted cheerios.
Parent 2: Please don't send your son in with peanut butter toast in the morning. When you walk in at 8:40 we are in the process of eating our breakfast that begins at 8:30. Please have your son finish his breakfast in the car before arrival. Secondly, it contains an allergen and I have infants in care for which I am responsible for and would rather NOT have to call 911 should the infant pick up your sons sandwich and begin eating it.
I HATE having to address issues when I shouldn't have too.
