    Dcg out today, payday, termination?

I get paid on Fridays for next week. I also planned to give my 2 weeks to my daycare family today so I won't have to work past june and make it easy to end.

The thing is my dcg is out sick today. Dad called not mom. I haven't heard anything from them about paying me. Mom pays me. If they pay on Monday it would be an extra $30 in late fees.

Do I contact them to see what their plan is? Email them the term notice? Or wait til Monday and just add the fees on?

Also can I still give them 2 weeks on Monday then because they didn't come today? And still end 2 weeks from today? My notice is dated today.

Personally, I would maybe just shoot them off a text saying you want to remind them that if they choose to wait until Monday to bring payment, there will be a late fee added and then leave it up to them.

I wouldn't waive it just because you are closing.

If they show up to pay, give them your letter.

If they don't show up to pay. give it to them on Monday and let them know it is dated for Friday but since they didn't show up to pay, you are giving it to them now (Monday) but the dates still stand.

I wouldn't email the notice if they don't show up today to pay, simply because it just leaves the door open for them to maybe not show at all on Monday which means no payment.

Thanks that worked perfectly. I tend to over think things! Lol

I sent a text asking out dcg was doing then asked if she would be by today with payment. And when.

She came and dropped it off and I said I was stepping away from doing daycare And this is to serve as my 2 weeks notice. She said ok and left.

I hope the next 2 weeks go smoothly.
