Inviting Each Other To Birthday Parties

Do your children invite each other to their birthday parties (via an invitation from the parents)?

I always feel sorry for the families that choose to take this route.
1/2 of the children behave horribly when their parents are around, which naturally they will be. I'm sure it'll be a fun experience for the newest client of mine attempting to do this. I wish I was a fly on their wall...

no difference than inviting the whole class over for a party either. Acually it wasn't the kids, I found some of the parents to be rude. I had some that were so nice and thanked me and asked if I needed help and then I had those parents who thought their sh*t don't stink and would shun the other parents.

I'm talking about daycare families inviting daycare families.

Yeahhh, I wouldn't go the route of inviting all of my own children's classmates over either because I witness how parents these days are "parenting."

A lot of my dc families tend to do this. I think spending 2 hours with the kids running all over their house makes the parents appreciate me even more than they normally do. When they drop off their kids the next day, they usually tell me they could never do my job!

I allow for parents to do this, but they have to do the work. I stay out of it. I also do not attend.

recently I had a parent book one of those jummper parties where you have to pay in advance for each guest. She kept asking me if I knew who was coming because she had to pay if they showed or not.

I just kept saying sorry I have no clue.....

I tell parents from day one I dont do pArites outside of care

Yes, and I've been invited too. I don't go though. Although it's nice to invite me, I want to keep my personal and business life seperate. I would like to see how some of these kids act with parents though..

I went to one and it was horrifying. Absolutely horrifying. I didn't stay long.
