Classroom Rules
05-15-2013, 04:57 PM
What do you have for "appropriate age" classroom rules for 2 & 3 yr olds???
I was thinking about this today and wonder if I'm expecting too much of my kiddos.

For my three year olds:
1. Walking feet
2. Gentle hands and feet
3. Always wear our listening ears
4. Inside voices

I have the above plus:
5. No play fighting or wrestling (I have 3 rambunctious boys right now).

Maybe something like this:
Remember to always use your:
1. Walking feet
2. Helping hands
(also called "
Gentle touches
")
3. Kind words
4. Listening ears
5. Manners
[respect others]
*Confession- I got most of them from America's Super Nanny
You can probably do an overview at first and then focus on each rule bit by bit (focus on teaching one rule a day or week)

1. Listen.
2. Be kind to others.
3. Be kind to our things.
Those are the written rules (ages 2-5) and they can tell you what they are.
