I am just curious on what you do to sanitize your toys at the end of the day (the toys that cannot be washed in a washer). I separate the mouthed toys and wash them when I remember, then spray bleach water or Lysol on the other toys.

I put that I do nothing:
: but that's not entirely true. Toys that are mouthed go in the "yuck" bucket and are sanitized as I have time. I have a weekly "cleaning" schedule for the other toys and I wash those during the day the day.But I technically don't go around every single night washing every single toy.

I wash anything that gets slimed or gross as needed and once a week I swipe the toys with vinegar & tea tree oil solution. But daily, no, I don't clean all the toys daily.- Flag

I have one infant and I keep his toys separate and away from other kids. I wipe down his toys every few days with 7 th Generation and also send them through the dishwasher each week.
Any toys that go into a mouth gets taken out of circulation until I wash them.
I have two bins for this-one in each play area.
I have successfully trained most the kids to keep toys out of their mouth.
I wipe down big kid toys with the Clorox wipes that are ok'd by my state to disinfect the changing table, eating surfaces, etc. Twice a week. I HATE bleach and I am really glad we have an option. Play dishes and phones go through the dishwasher once a week.
Big kid toys also get run through the dish washer every few weeks.
I don't wash daily and have very little sickness.- Flag

Mouthed toys must be placed away and sanitized at the end of the day OR before allowing another child to play with it. Luckily, I don't have many toys mouthed here since they are preschool aged.
When it's the winter, I tend to clean toys daily. I like to spray things down with vinegar. Once a week I will use lysol or bleach water.
Other times, it's once a week. There's no required sanitizing schedule for toys that aren't mouthed. Cloth toys must be laundered once a week, but that's it as far as rules go for toys that aren't mouthed.- Flag

I spray with Lysol a lot. Anything that gets mouthed,I tend to immediately wash then sanitize. That doesn't happen a lot though because I have no babies.
This might sound stupid, what is 7th generation spray?- Flag

Same here. I don't have a lot of toys that babies stick in their mouths. I do have teethers for this purpose and they are washed after each use in hot soapy water.
All other toys are sanitized weekly with a commercial grade sanitizer.- Flag

Just kind of depends on the day::
We are supposed to wash all toys that anyone under 18 months plays with daily. Anything slimed in anyway (drool, snot, sneezed) gets washed in the dishwasher or it is sanitized with vinegar water mix.
Large toys or toys that were in high demand that day get sprayed with Clorox (lysol?) Anywhere Spray.
I rotate toys in and out of the dishwasher everyday, so they all get cleaned occasionally. I use a large lingerie bag, fill it with toys, and stick it in the top rack and wash with hot water. The bag helps them from falling through.- Flag

yep... I am taking the health and safety classes this week in prep for my opening.. and we actually covered this today. Mouthed toys washed in hot soapy water, soaked in cold bleach water for 2 minutes and rinsed in cold after this. Other toys wiped down or washed in bleach water. All the bleach water is mixed with a specific ratio of bleach to water and replaced (make new) every day.Chief cook, bottle washer & spider killer...- Flag
