For my large family home license!! I only had enough square footage for 10 instead of 12, but if I decide to use my bedroom as daycare space, I would qualify for 12. I just have to get that organized in a way that I would feel comfortable having dcks in there

Also answered a big question I was thinking about recently. I wasn't sure if they would pro-rate your capacity based on square footage. Question answered.

Agree! I am in WI too! For ten years I did FCC in Iowa and wished they allowed group FCC. After I got out of child care they changed the regulations and now it is allowd in Iowa.

I always think as soon as I get out of FCC in WI they will change to large group FCC too! I would LOVE to take a few more kids and then be able to have someone to work with! FCC is too isolating for me.

I thought the same thing. I was nervous because I thought it was either 7 or 12 and I wasn't sure if I had quite enough space

How long did it take for you to get your license after everything was submitted and done?
