I just sent a 3.5 year old to the bathroom to take a "potty break." He was in their for a long time, so I checked on him. He had apparently already gone, and then proceeded to still pull down his pants and have a seat on the toilet. There was poop everywhere - on the walls, the toilet, his legs/back and hands, his shoes, all of his clothes....really just awesome.
He was incredibly upset, crying his little eyes out. I cleaned him as best I could, then called his mom to let her know. She is not working today, and has her baby at a doctor's appointment then is heading home until pick-up.
She proceeds to tell me that she has no problem if I want to give him a bath and get him clean.
OK, my daycare is in the basement. All of my bathtubs are on the second floor of my house. How on EARTH am I supposed to bathe her child?!! Not to mention, why on EARTH would I want her kid's poop all over my kid's bathtub? If she wants him to have a bath, she could stop here on her way HOME and give him a bath at his own house.
I can't wait until every child is gone for the day so I can scrub every part of my body. I feel sooooo nasty! Ick!
