Memorial Day Parade

I am either going to term my one pt dcg, or they have already just left...I have no idea, but I want to fill at least two ft spots in my daycare.

I'm thinking about making up flyers and handing them out during the Memorial Day parade in our small town.

What is everyone's thoughts on this????

Also, I want the flyers to look pretty professional. I've tried creating something on Vistaprint but not happy with it. Anyone have any other suggestions to sites that may be easy to design either a brochure, or regular flyer? I want to add pics of some of the things we do in daycare (no children's faces)

Our Memorial Day parade is a "somber"parade. No throwing candy etc out of respect. But I have considered doing that at our Springfest or Octoberfest parades. I have a tri fold flyer that outlines my program that I always have places, library etc. so that is what I would use. This year I am planning on distributing treats at Halloween with business cards attached.
I considered handing out flyers and business cards at the ice cream social. I don't currently have any openings though.
