    Powerball Dreams

:: Anyone have any big fantasies for what they would do if you ever won?

I would stay in my little town...just build a bigger house on lots more land, with a pool and a "just in case" shelter.

I would set up a foundation at the two hospitals that helped save my vision last year.

I would close my daycare in 32 days, as I planned, but give everyone the last week free.

I would give our two siblings and three sets of parents enough money to live happily. My grandmother, too.

I would take my family away on vacation for the entire summer, to every beach I could think of.

I would set up my godchildren (I have four) with college funds.

I would live life and enjoy every second. I try to do that now, but it would be so much easier without the stress of everyday finances.

I would hire a personal trainer and have them come to my house every day.

Dare to dream! What would you all do? Love hearing other thoughts of the perfect life ~

I would love to set up housing for poor people to get onto their feet...such as apartment complexes and the people would have to meet certain qualifications and work a plan to be able to live there for free. It would not be just someplace for people to take advantage and not better themselves.

But before I did all that, I'd take a 3 month vacation with my entire family so we could all reconnect.

Then I would buy homes for all my kids and grandkids and live happily ever after.....

*I would quit doing daycare, but give everyone plenty of time to find a new place.
*I would pay off our house and all our bills and put enough in savings that we could live a comfortable life off of the interest. I would do the same for my parents and our neighbors that are more like family than most our family.
*I would remodel our house. I don't need a new fancy house, but would pay someone to finish remodeling ours and add on a room.
*I would donate to Children's Mercy Hospital, because they care for my daughter and are amazing.

          I would keep doing daycare.
I would pay off this house and keep it.
I would look for about 10 acres or so in this area would would be almost impossible and I would build the house I want. Not an expensive top if the line house. A one story with a basement and a tornado shelter separate. The basement would be the daycare area and would be at least 4,000 sq foot all by itself.

I would donate to umc children's hospital because the years I worked there taking care of children were some if the best of my career and this specialized hospital is doing some awesome work in the community.

I would donate to the after school program at my daughters school because only rich people can afford it and be a use of that a lot of 7 and 8 year olds are latch key kids. That is so not right.

I would scholarship as many kids as I could to go to college because all of my kids and step kids already have college paid for.

Mostly though I would help in my community. The volunteer fire department and rescue squad for one. And all of the other volunteer community services.

Not exactly sure what I would do, but I can say I'd do it with interest. This meaning if you win say 30 million.. invest the entire amount. Live off the interest. Buy the cars, houses, boats. Help all the people you want to, but make the payments with the interest. Never spend the cash. 20, 30, 40 years from now, you'll have dozens of possessions and will have helped perhaps piles of people.. and will still have the original 30 million in accounts earning interest.

I would love to set up a program to help all of the young "teen moms"around here. I would love to establish a meals on wheels type program to fed the elderly real food and have the teen moms work it, providing care for their children and an opportunity to attend the communit college. Step it out a step and start an organic farm to provide the food and provid a place for them to live with their kidos that is safe.

If I won the Powerball today, I wouldn't be here tomorrow.

Probably isn't too nice to do to my daycare families, but being completely honest....it is what it is...

I would pay off my children's college expenses, purchase a home and a car for each and then other than my children, not many people would see me or my DH again.

We'd head off on our "journey" of a life time.

The one we planned together at 17 yrs old sitting on my dad's sofa singing away to a Bon Jovi's video on MTV, at 2 a.m in the morning with our whole lives planned out ahead of us!

What big dreams we had then!

                  So Sweet lovethis

We would pay off our debt, our house, and move somewhere with 10 + acres and a lots of fruit trees. I would have plenty of money tucked away for my kids. DH and I would have new cars. We would donate a lot of money to help those in need. I would also give money to family who could really use the help. I wouldn't be doing DC

I would teach kindergarten for free at the private school I used to teach at....yep, I really would!

I'd build a new home overlooking the bluffs of the Mississippi River. I already have a new home with a river bluff view, but I would build 60 miles south of where we are because.....

I'm sure my husband would retire and we wouldn't have to live near his job.

I'd build a feline rescue "kitty palace" and employ cat lovers to care for them...I know I am really dreaming, but I have always said I would do this if I won the lottery.

Give each my kids....say 3 million...they don't need their lives ruined with 50 million! I am going to win big!

Give lots to programs like heifer international!

Vacation, especially Europe, Holland, Denmark, etc.

Give some $$$ to friends and relatives.

Probably donate or set up facilities for battered women in rural areas.

Oh, and a really nice houseboat for overnights on the Mississippi!

                      I guess that's about it!

                        I needed this thread today........

I have said before that I would still work--- think I have reconsidered this. I would work but doing whatever I wanted to do- probably sharing my wealth the way I want to share it, no matter if it be big or small ways. My way. That would be my life work. I would not sit idle, I would keep busy doing whatever made me happy-

I would travel for a while

I would put a couple million away for each of my children

I would have the car, boat,Travel RV, the house, cottage by the sea, gardens, vineyard, stocked well safe house, and animals that I want.

I would have my own cook and health organizer that would keep me motivated to stay fit and alive so that I can spend my money as I wish for as long as possible.

I would help others- my way.

I would secret Santa a ton of people

I would have an inground pool, sauna and hot tub, my pool might be an indoor outdoor pool- with a waterfall.

I would own a vacation home at Disney World that I would set whoever I wish up with to stay free and visit all the parks during their stay. My family would use it but also I would bring whoever else I wanted to gift that stay with there.

I would have a huge walk in closet filled with whatever I like, one that you could sit down and get dressed with a big vanity stocked with whatever I like and everything organized and tons of comfortable shoes.

My family would have what they want but they would be told they must pay it forward so that none of us became rich snots and always remained humble.

I can't imagine not having to worry about money- I hope that I would be a better person because of it and do good.

This is all good and great so long as it is the big winner of millions upon millions. I am humble to win at a family game of cards-

Thanks for letting me dream for a minute or two

I would help my family pay off their houses, buy them new cars

I would stop doing daycare but help other daycares around me and my friends on this board with huge cash grants to help them buy new toys, curriculum, and whatever they need but I would insist on a one week all expense vacation for them and their family.

I would help my local pro- life women's shelters and give a lot of money to my church.
I would love to stay in the lives of my day care kids.. be their rich aunt or something like that! happyface

And of course buy a beach house and nice car for myself
But the one thing I have always wanted to do is go to England!!!!
My daughter wants to go stalk David Tennet ( Dr. Who)
