It looks great. I'm sure the kids love playing in there.

In my previous home, I had a day care room in the cellar. We put something similar under our stairs. I hung dress ups across the back of the closet space using a tension rod and then put a play kitchen. washer and dryer and chairs in there. We cut out a square in the wall to make a "window" the kids could look out of and see into the rest of the play room. Outside the window, we hung shutters and a window flower box. The kids loved that space. I miss having that option in my current home.

how about a full length mirror. Also, I think I would have painted the walls a soft yellow. You can also paint a window and then hang a real curtain valance. I like the idea with a pot with fake flowers. As for the light, I would install one, call an electrician, so when your done using the space at least you will still have light and you can use it for something else.

I painted a window in there already, but will definitely do the curtains. I will paint the walls, too, but I like to watch the paint thst they tinted wrong for one I like. You can't really tell from the pictures but the "window" is a light blue. Ooh and the mirror is a good idea. I have a small one in there now but a full length mirror would be better.

Very nice. Way to go on using any extra space. I'm sure we all could use that

I love mistint paint too, thats how I did my kids bathroom. I wanted a beige/brown and I ended up getting it for under 10 dollars.
