I am so snoopy - I NEED to know - what was the original title of the thread?
Remember My 4 yr Old DCB?

The thread title had the word serial killer in it. In good humor (kinda like how cops have a morbid sense of humor) I implied that I think I have one in my care.- Flag

A bit of an off shoot from OP but DH had a run in tonight with a family at the park he works at (DH is a park ranger) that totally reminded me of this thread!! He was all freaked out over it when he came home.
He said he ran into a boy, 9yrs, that was sitting by himself on a rock across the parking lot from any adults. He asked him if he was ok or needed anything and the boy told him no, he was "just taking a break from his stupid family." Then the mom came over and was in tears because the boy had just had an "episode" and they were trying to get him to leave. The dad pulled DH aside and said the boy had been diagnosed a bipolar with sociopath behaviors but they were really working with him. DH said ok and continued on about his rounds but then 20 minutes later he got flagged down by the dad again and they asked him to call the state police because the boy had flipped out again, he was attacking mom, had attacked the little sister and was threatening to kill little sister (1yr) when they got home!! He had tried to choke/suffocate her in the back seat because he didn't want to go home, then lashed out kicking and biting mom. Dad said they don't know what to do anymore. They padlock their bedroom door at night (baby sleeps in their room) and the kitchen, all the walls have holes from his fits, he's attacked the baby numerous times, they had to get rid of their dog because he was abusing it and much more!
Dad is actually stepdad BTW so he said he was afraid to step in anymore because he doesn't want anything he does to be taken wrong ("because he's just stepdad") or come back on him, but he can't do it anymore because the boy is going after his daughter (little sister is his bio daughter) now and he'll do what he has to in order to protect her. The boy's bio dad gave up all rights to him because he couldn't handle it. DH said the mother was a mess and shaking the whole time, begging the officers to find a way to help her
Anyway police from 3 different agencies showed up (state, county, and city) but no one wanted to touch the case, they all argued over who should deal with it and what to do. They finally said they couldn't do anything but make a report to DHS and advised the parents to commit him to the state hospital (which mom planned to do tomorrow, dad was packing and leaving with little sis)
So scary, I feel for horrible for that family- Flag

I saw something similar occur in the public school system. It was actually extremely heartbreaking for me as I tried to deescalate the "final straw" situation for the guardian (Grandma). He did end up getting committed. It had been a long road for Grandma.
I can't imagine how these families feel. DH was really upset over the whole situation because the mom kept saying she didn't know what to do anymore and she felt like a terrible parent that was letting her child down.

Yesterday I caught him trying to look down dcgs pants. Today I heard him asking the girls to shake their bootys for him.
Ok, those [I]might[I] be normal behaviors for a 4yo boy but just now I heard them playing. They are pretending to lay kids down for naps and I heard him say" Okay, go to sleep or I will stab you."
I have him for 6 more weeks and then for the month of August. If I can get through those he'll be gone gone gone! I just hope his little sister is not the same way!- Flag

The first day when he tried to look down dcgirls pants I wrote it off as a "show me yours, I'll show you mine" kind of thing. When he asked the girls to shake their booties I was more alarmed.
Where would he get that? I think his parents must have an anything goes policy for TV??- Flag
