    Hopefully My Last Nap Question

Do you get kids up when they wake up or teach them to lie down until nap/quiet time is over? Babies included. I am struggling with this because by the time I get everyone down and quiet, I barely have 15 to 20 minutes to myself before someone gets up. UGH!!! I HATE nap time!

If they are on a mat I urge them to stay on their mats until naptime is done. If the babies are quiet I let them be.

Depends...I tend to leave them there so long as they're happy until a) they're all up or b) it's 3 o'clock (which is my unofficial "end of naptime" time). One DCB wakes up SCREAMING after 45 minutes and can climb out of his pack n play so I RUN to get him when he wakes up. But the others stay unless they're crying. For older kids (2.5 and up mostly) I let them get up whenever they wake up and try to restrict the playing to quiet activities until 3.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!
