The BIG Boss Visiting Tomorrow!

With recent notification that my neighbors are doing a major renovation I called my licensing rep to see what I needed to do to make sure I didn't breech my licensing requirements and also to reduce liability. Well I never heard back from her but got a call from the director of the office of child care saying she is on long term medical leave and he would be the one to contact if something came up. After chatting for a while about the issue at hand he thanked me for being so proactive and concerned about my licensing requirements and also the childrens' safety. He offered to possibly come by my home and see what I'm working with and what suggestions he may have. Now he is coming TOMORROW morning!!! I'm soooooo nervous. I mean this is the BIG GUY. The head honcho over at licensing. I'm kind of excited because I'm really proud of what I've set up, but com'on every one knows Murphy's law totally applies to these situations!! I'm so scared its going to be a mad house when he gets here or something bad happens. But then again... if every thing goes smoothly something really positive could come of it. What if he's impressed? Has any one else INVITED licensing over? Have I lost my mind?!

I've invited my licensing rep. over a couple of times when I have rearranged rooms and needed her input, but I have yet to be visited by her boss. Yikes, I'd be a little nervous too!

I had the big boss here for 3 hours during my last inspection, WITH my registrar. Nerve wracking day for me! It went great though.

I would get my ducks in a row, take a tour of my home tonight as if I was the inspector, and check all my paperwork. JUST IN CASE!

I also just invited my registrar over because we are putting a new deck off of our hot tub area and I wanted her input before we started on how to keep everyone safe. I also wanted to make sure the new set up will be approved. She can't come until next week though and now I am stuck with a beautiful week to do the work in, all of the materials delivered, staring at the ripped up old deck.
