Letting Kids Change Clothing?

    I would just mention it to DCM, perhps exactly what DCB told you. As a parent I'd want my kid comfortable to play during the day and I'd save the button up type shirts for pictures or dressy days!

    Heck, if I had a choice between playing in a t-shirt or a blouse, I would choose a t-shirt too! ::

      I allow the children to change if they are uncomfortable. Most keep one extra set of clothing anyway, and also I do have extras. I always mention it to the parent picking up so that they know why the child is in a different shirt, etc. I've not had an issues so far with it.

      I had a little girl several years ago who was 4 and very much disliked dresses. One day her Dad drops her off and she is in a dress. She doesn't say a word, just walks to her cubby, takes her extra clothes in to the bathroom and changes out of the dress by herself. Then, right after snack she goes back to her cubby and repeats the process putting the dress back on, right before her Dad picked her up. :: I suppose that she really, really did not want to wear that dress.
