    Planning Out My New Space!

Hi I am in need of ideas for my new daycare space. It is one big open room with a bathroom 1st door on the left in picture, and the 2nd door on the left will be where I put the kitchenette/ dining table. Since there isn't a bedroom to use for a nap area for infants I I'm thinking of getting some kind of divider to put up when they are napping or maybe one of the curtains that slides across the space for naps. If anyone has ideas I am open to decide the best way to set up. Also I have a pretty mixed age group right now so I'm not sure how many or what stations will be best for them to help clean up each day. I would like to be invited to the décor group as well to get ideas and will post my setup in a month when it is complete

A clean slate - always fun That's what I had a couple months ago. Mine is a long room like yours (living room/dining room combo). I have set up different "centers" - I have a library corner (where we'll do circle time stuff also), a transportation station (train table, and cars), a baby corner, our "house" (kitchen, dress up, work bench), the eating/project table, and another table for older kids to do puzzles and games at.

That describes pretty much what I'm going for! I want to make sure it is very functional for my daily schedule. Do you have any pictures of your setup? And do you have a special room for nap ?

I am going to be using the office )which is across the foyer from my daycare area) for infant napping, and just have the older ones on cots in the main daycare area. Here are a couple pictures ...

        1) From the front of the room (reading corner to your right)
        2) Reading corner
        3) Transportation Center
        4) Our "house", and the table for the older kids for puzzles and games (I have put up some more wall decorations in this area)
