    My Neighbor

    It never, ever fails that during nap time she decides to go work outside in her yard. Our houses are very close and she works out there 2-3 times per week. Mowing, or putting rocks into a metal wheel barrow to move some place else. Right now she's out there using a metal shovel on cement doing something.

    How I wish there was about a mile in between the houses.

    As I was reading this, I was thinking, "I hate it when this happens"......and then I heard a mower start up outside::

      HaHa so agree. My neighbor started up her mower at 11:50 today. (kids go down for nap at 12) There should be an ordinance against making noise from 12-3

        I make a point to not have the house totally quiet during nap time (and leave the windows open during nicer months) so that the kids learn to sleep through sound. Unfortunately nap doesn't mean that life stops!
        I know there are providers on here who vacuum during nap ::!!!

          That does not bother me but why would you start a fire if you see kids playing next door.... or why would you mow if kids are playing next door. like a chain link fence would stop a rock or stick flying into an eye.
          It:: will wait
